Chilly at Night
The Cuzco hotel I stayed in didn’t have the luxury of an elevator so it was stairs all the way up to my room. This was a bit of a problem when you think of the altitude we are at. Also, as we are so high up it does get quite chilly at night. Each room had a portable heater which was adequate, although it didn’t chuck out an awful lot of heat. The other thing I found was that the light bulb didn’t really take the gloom from the room a brighter light bulb would be much more comfortable.
