Learning Disabilities
My son has a learning disability that makes it difficult for him to learn to read. We have been struggling with this for the past two years. Now they are threatening, at his school, to hold him back a year to work on this skill. My husband and I have discussed this and don’t believe that would help our son. It actually may harm more than help as it would be a big blow to his self esteem. We have decided to purchase a learn to read program and work with him at home over the holidays. With one-on-one attention, we are hoping to help him catch up. Moms and dads are always the best when knowing what works with their kids.
