Buy Early For Christmas - This Year It’s Good Advice
Every year we are advised to buy early for Christmas in order to avoid disappointment - but this year it may turn out to be sound advice rather than good marketing. A lot of retailers have set stock levels much lower than usual for the time of year. This is due to overstocking last year and the general economic climate. However, popular toys - such as the Zhu Zhu pets - are already proving difficult to find and shortages in the run up to Xmas are predicted. Retailers are trying to get new stock in place before the big day - but since a lot of toys come from China or other parts of Asia there’s no guarantee that they will arrive in time.
